Website maintenance and support, including sites we didn't build
Your website was built, launched and then left alone. Now the plugins are out of date, the person who made it has moved on, and you need someone to add pages, photos and news without a fuss. We take on existing websites, keep them secure and up to date, and make the changes you need.
Free, no obligation. We reply within 3 working days.

What website maintenance includes
The unglamorous work that stops a website quietly breaking, done every month so you do not have to think about it.
- Software, theme and plugin updates, tested so nothing breaks
- Security monitoring and the SSL certificate kept current
- Regular backups, so a bad day is never a disaster
- Uptime checks, and we tell you if the site goes down
- Contact forms tested, so enquiries keep arriving
- Small changes when you need them: prices, hours, photos, team
- Domain and hosting renewals kept on track
- A real person to email or ring, not a ticket queue
Want to know why this matters? Our guide to website maintenance for small businesses explains what goes wrong when a site is left alone.
Three ways we can help, with the prices up front
One clear price, agreed before we start, that only changes if what we do for you changes. No VAT to add: the prices you see are what you pay. No minimum term, and 30 days' notice whenever you want to stop.
Full care of your WordPress site
From £95 a month
after a one-off £295 set-up
The set-up covers moving your site to our hosting, a full backup, fixing obvious faults and tidying its plugins. After that we look after everything: hosting, software and plugin updates, security, backups and monitoring, plus up to 30 minutes of changes every month. Unused time carries over for up to three months.
Best for: WordPress sites that need someone to keep them safe and up to date
Cost: £1,435 in the first year, then £1,140 a year
Changes only, your site stays where it is
£65 an hour
billed in half hours
Your website and hosting stay exactly where they are, and your provider stays responsible for hosting and security. We make the changes you need, using our own login: new pages, photos, prices, news and events. Updating regularly? Ask about a monthly allowance at a lower rate.
Best for: Wix and Squarespace sites, or anyone happy with their current host
Cost: Only what you use. A typical small change takes half an hour
Move to our platform
£450, then £15 a month
paid once you have approved the new site
We rebuild your website on our own platform, keep your domain and email where they are, and redirect your old pages so you hold on to your place in Google. Hosting, security, updates and small changes are all included in the monthly fee.
Best for: Sites that cost a lot to keep going, or that you have outgrown
Cost: £630 in the first year, then £180 a year
Prices are for one small site of up to about eight pages. The WordPress prices are for sites we did not build: if we build your WordPress site, its care is quoted with the build, usually for less, because we know exactly what is in it. Several sites, a large site, heavy plugins or regular weekly updates get a fixed quote first. Not sure which suits you? The free check tells you what your website needs, and we recommend one.

The websites we look after
WordPress
The most common, and the one that most needs regular updates.
Wix and Squarespace
Less to patch, but content, settings and SEO still drift.
Hand-built and older sites
Static or custom sites that nobody has touched in years.
How taking over your website works
Free check of your site
Send us the address. We look at how it is built, what condition it is in and what it needs, and email you a plain-English summary.
The right option, priced up front
We tell you which of the three options suits your site and confirm the exact price before anything starts. Nothing is added to your bill unless you have agreed to it.
We take it over
We get the access we need safely, run a backup, bring everything up to date and fix anything urgent.
We keep it that way
Updates, backups, monitoring and small changes every month. You email us when something needs changing.
Local website support, from Gloucester
We are based in Gloucester and look after websites for businesses in Cheltenham, Bristol, the Cotswolds and across the UK. Most of the work happens remotely, so wherever you are, you get the same direct support from one person who knows your site.
Sometimes a new site is the cheaper option
If your current website would cost more to keep alive than to replace, the free check will tell you. We can build you a new one for £450, then £15 a month with maintenance included, keeping your domain and redirecting your old pages so you hold on to your search rankings.
How a new website worksWebsite maintenance questions
Yes, that is exactly what this service is for. A lot of small business websites were built by a freelancer who has since moved on, or an agency that went quiet. We start with a free check so we can see how your site is built before we quote.
Full care of a WordPress site on our hosting is from £95 a month, after a one-off £295 set-up, including up to 30 minutes of changes a month. If your site stays with its current host, changes are £65 an hour, billed in half hours. Websites we build ourselves are £15 a month, which is why moving to our platform is sometimes the cheapest option. The free check confirms which suits you and the exact price.
Yes, along with most hand-built and older sites. WordPress needs the most regular attention because of plugin and theme updates. Wix and Squarespace need less patching, but content, settings and SEO still need looking after.
Yes. Content updates are a big part of what we do: new pages, photo galleries, news and event updates, and improvements to how your services are presented. You can have them as and when you need them, or as a monthly allowance if you update regularly.
Yes. If your organisation runs more than one site, for example a main website and a separate one for a particular service, we can look after both and keep them consistent.
WordPress runs on plugins and themes that need regular updates, and each update needs checking so nothing breaks. That ongoing work, and the security risk that comes with it, is what the £95 a month covers. Sites on our own platform have none of that to maintain, which is how we can look after them for £15 a month.
Not for content updates: your website can stay with your current host, who remains responsible for hosting and security. For full care, covering security, software updates, backups and speed, we move the website to our hosting, because we can only take responsibility for those when we host it.
No. Like all our plans, website maintenance is rolling monthly and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Your website stays yours throughout.
We will guide you through the safest way to give us access, usually by adding us as a user on your hosting or platform account, so you never need to share your own login. We never ask for banking or email passwords.
Then we will say so. If it would cost more to keep alive than to replace, we can build you a new one for £450, then £15 a month, with your domain kept and old pages redirected so you hold on to your search rankings.
